Finding derelict properties in Southern rural England, though more difficult than in urban areas, is actually worryingly easy: this garage is located not far from my home town of Sidmouth. A somewhat affluent area of the country. It must have closed down recently and there seems to be no plans spoken of in publications for the property, its empty show room, warehouse and parking lot. It can be assumed that this is another business to fall victim to recent economic crashes – as livelihoods become lost in the rubble.

actually cotford garage didnt close because of the economic climate we closed because after we were there 40 years the landlady and her agent got very greedy and wanted to put up the rent to silly money which made it impossible to stay if they were more sensible with the rent garage would still be open and she would have had money coming in each month
Ive noticed that the garage in Sidbury has re-opened. Im looking for a newer car, but I cant find a website for the garage. Do you have any intentions in developing one? If so Id love the site address. Thanks,
